Awesome stuff! My father is a vette nut... has an 82 and 85. The 85 was a wreck and he's fully restored it. I'll have to get some pics. The 85 is actually in the same room (garage) as my boxes.

Gotta love the Corvette. My old boss back in 1992 had a stingray with a 454 full blown race motor! That thing was bloody fast!!! The only car I have ever driven that could burn rubber at over 80km/h!!

James....

How did I do?  . Pretty much a lost day and wasted time detailing the 2.5 vehicles I wanted in the show.... This is what I posted on our local car show's facebook page. Check it out if you have time :-/ .

"After spending over 5 hours detailing the two vehicles I own and showing up at the show to register today, I am dumbfounded. I was told to GO BACK HOME! What I did see was that people paid the $10 fee to just be told by the next guy that they can't be in the show. I was refunded my entry money but didn't see one other person refunded when they were brushed away. This is the dumbest change in most any car show I have seen since I starting showing almost 12 years ago. I am a resident of Fox Lake and have been in the show almost as many years as I have lived here (7). I have two vehicles and both are newer than '92. To tell people the changes were because the "old-tymers" complained about having to compete against a newer vehicle is not fair?!?!?! And that the trophys are costing too much?!?!?!? AND because you are running out of SPACE?!?!?!? That is such bull. Fox lake show has the lowest price around for "day of" registration of only $10, so charge $15! Old guys getting their undies in a bunch because of competing with newer vehicles, make a class that is 3 trophies for any stock/custom/car/truck/bike or whatever that is for 1992 and NEWER vehicles! Don't push people away. And needing more space? Yeah right.... dump those tacky flea market booths selling JUNK and clearly there IS enough room as the entire yard marked "E" section south of the school had NO CARS PARKED THERE! Make that the "newer car" section. There was a lot of room out in the frizbee golf field too. What a shame. I wanted to give Fox Lake Fire Dpt. my $$ to be in this show. These newer cars are the next generation of car enthusiast, and you pushed them away including me. Thanks for nothing."

Because I spent all the time cleaning the vehicles, I did park them outside the fence at the show so my hard work didn't feel so wasted getting them ready....

efin love vette's man my buddy up the road has a 67 sting ray convertable with a 327 , he has a 427 hood on it but has the original hood too and an extra hard top. he is the second owner and has had it since 1974. i helped him work on it and that was some scary **** workin' on a mans muscle car car ain't nothing to be took lightly so i was sweating bullets the whole time. nothing better than turning wrenches on a bad ass car ,it's like a good woman only more peaceful even with 350 horses blowing in your ear , only you never get tired of it .

love it man hell that paint work prolly cost more than most cars do, at least mine anyway

i would love to have a car like that and a hot woman and lots of money and a partridge in a pear tree and so on
