Conion boomboxes are very rare in the UK. Even C100s are mainly in the hands of collectors.
Was happy to do a Trade/cash deal with an esteemed member of both forums. A great member who had the box for a long time.

Massive sound on these. I don't have all the grails but this compares well with M90, S90,
GF-777, CS-880. In fact one of the best sounding 1 piece traditional boxes I've heard. This one is fully working but needs a little attention to tape deck and transformer.

It's amazing how much bass an empty box can put down, lol.

Well, not as empty as a J1, but it only weighs 7.1 kg, same as an M9994 which is a smaller box.

It's true! Boxes like these make me scratch my head about GF-9000's ...8 inch woofers...should boom!

Holy crap, I always thought these were dual cassette but that's the display window for the storage tray on the bottom?!?! coooooool

Just noticed on the spec sheet that the woofer impedence is 2.2 ohms and Tweets 4. That would chug batteries, no? :hmmm:

No matter, that's what the plug is for.

Still, just a superb looking unit ! ! ! ! !
