I am about to drive off to a fellow boombox collector in Berlin who is going to help me fix the decks on my Conion and take care of the FM Stereo problem .
Sadly he is not a member here but maybe I can convince him today

I'll report back later when I am listening to some tapes on the box

Tape decks fixed
It was quite an operation
FM Stereo problem remains but it doesn't matter...just listening to tapes with Zippy and watch the cool tape run LEDs

No pics? No vids? awwww man - MAX you have tons of vids I was hoping to see one for fixing these belts

i hate working on the conion decks especially the top one , those two tiny screws that hold the cover over the belts on the top deck are a pita to get out ,you need a very good strong jewelers phillips screwdriver to get them out :annoyed: , good luck max .
