Color of the radio scale in the C-100

Hi! What is the best way to change the color of the radio station scale in the C-100? I would like it to be yellow..

Only here it is done differently. There is this blue scale. And it is illuminated by a large white bulb. I do not know if installing LEDs of e.g. yellow color will give the desired effect

Light diffuser paper is used in some cases like on Marantz receivers.

Paint that tin backing plate yellow. But the white silkscreen on the acrylic window means the contrast (white text on yellow background) might mean poor visibility.

Thanks for your answers guys. I think I will put a yellow sticker on the backing plate and see what the effect will be.
