Coin stacking

Here are a couple of pics from the coin tower I did for a TV shooting recently.
This is 3000 coins balanced on a European Cent (slightly smaller than a dime).
The stack was worth 755€ and was about 16-17kg heavy. It also took like 4 to 5 hours to stack it up .
The last pics is after the destruction .

Nah, that one was just for TV. We actually shot this in the highly security protected Bundesbank. About 100 feet under us was about 80% of the money of Germany .
I asked about free samples but sadly got none .
The coin stacking is a thing for itself - i doubt GWR accepts the category since coins are so different in each country. I would have loved to have quarters for this since they are big and thin.
Also those new coins were damn slippery (see the bottom of the tower where the diameter gets smaller two times).
All in all it was fun though .

I will post the result which is broadcasted on TV as soon as I have it

Shooting time was from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

The stacking itself minus the failed attempt took about 4-5 hours
