Well there you have it. I went with the white giving my 7980 the Snowbird Edition. new belts. new life. super clean. and as beautiful and clean as the snow surrounding my home. Even my tray was fully intact with the post in back and guide to make it fully operational. the testing on driver color was with the parts box I had. so no original parts from this box were harmed in the process. Cheers!!!!!

Beautiful work!! Those white woofers really pop!! Looking minty fresh now.

James... :-)

P.S. White was the right colour choice for the woofers.

:agree: 100%. That thing came out GREAT!! Top notch work right there

Looks good! I agree with your choice. Looks really clean.

Off-topic: do you find painting the speakers has a noticeable affect on how it sounds/performs?

Wow man, that came out STUNNING!

I have never seen one of these with white speakers, and it looks so factory fresh

To the eye, it lets all the other colors POP, the red rings around the speakers, the blue tuner & VU's, the LED Meters...all of it.

Fantastic man!

Did you repaint the case or just clean it? It looks brand new!

I actually voted for the RED woofers during VM's feedback sessions on the project....but the white is CLASS!!! No doubt, can go with any décor & stand out like a white lion.

The white really pops, nice work! I've got my C100 all in pieces at the moment and am agonizing over what to do with the case and woofers, there are so many colors to choose from.

Many choices can be made for color. The type of paint used is important. In my case I use acrylic paints. Water washable. But once dry becomes water resistant. ... thin layers and your done. This is what I do for the drivers.
