A friend asked me his "Clairtone" to repair. No problem, I wanted to get to know the "Clairtone 7980" aka "Conion C 100F" always sometimes. Why is it so expensive? No idea? Good design, and very much loudly :-D ! On screwing on, I had been surprised  . Cheap, very cheap. Two easy tape decks, an easy tuner, big woofer, everything nothing the special! But fun has made it.
Here is the little vid. Have fun !! :-D

cheers

Oh, Toronto was the homebase of "Clairtone" in the middle of seventhies. This Clairtone is Made in Japan. " Carrady Electronics Limited by Toronto, Ontario" is writing on a label backside  It's a dealer or a store . I don't know :hmmm:

cheers

That's a good looking box. That was one of my favorite songs in the 80's. I had the album (12" Single) to it.

22.5W per channel? That's pretty decent, I didn't know it had that much. That's more than an M90.
