Choose a boombox...damn it!

OK, so you're shopping and you're down to only these two choices. Sanyo MCD300 and Sanyo MCD500. Basically the same but the 300 is a single deck CD boombox that has an LED VU meter, the 500 has double deck and CD but no LED VU meter. What do you choose? WHAT DO YOU CHOOSE? Do you give up the deck for the VU meter or VU meter for the deck? :-).

I know the example photos look a bit different but both of these were available in exactly the same styling, so don't focus on the speakers as you can have either with either speaker design.

I would choose the one in the first picture.

Agree with floyd.
My reason is, I hate working on decks so one is enough.
Every time I've bought a dual decker I've wanted to kick myself in the ass.
I also like VU meters.

VU meters +1. Also why have a cheap double deck, you are not going to copy cassettes with that. At least I hope so.
