I don't see why the station feels the names mattered anyway? It isn't like a US audience needs to know that information.

It's just about competition with other stations to get the news faster!

The scary part is this...

Recently a hacker took control over the International Press Twitter Feed stating that President Obama had been injured in an attack at the White House and in seconds the stock market crashed. In under a minute the IP responded and it stabilized, but still cost billions in loses to someone and their fake printed money. Imagine if the IP didn't respond right away....maybe 3 hours....a day later.

My point is, the way we share information and how fast we do it is a fragile egg on the brink of breaking.

Should some joker pass off a message that trigger's people to read fake names, sell stocks or pick up guns....this is the power of news outlets.

(IMHO, not to be trusted either)

I like how the names of the 4 pilots are in the correct order of sequence:

1. Captain Sum Ting Wong
2. Wi Tu Low
3. Ho Lee Fuk
4. Bang Ding Ow

That Intern deserves an Emmy.

It is pretty damn funny!

There was a Japanese racing driver, that did a few NASCAR races whose name was Fukumoma. Pronounced FOOK-YOU-MO-MA. Listening to the announcers trying to say his name was classic.

The TV station is already being sued for publishing the fake names of the pilots involved.
That's a good thing. Somebody died on this flight and just to see this is the reason most people believe the press are just a bunch of asses chasing advert revenue.
