Busted

So my 7yr old boy lost his 2nd front tooth last night and then went to bed happy that the tooth fairy would pay him a visit and leave him a small amount of money, as is tradition in this part of the world.

Anyway, we forgot to put the $ out for him last night so i did it this morning before going to work..

i just got a txt from my wife saying my son thought he saw me in his room this morning with $5.

so looks like ive been busted lol, any of you guys have kids that have caught you out too?

There were a couple times I forgot to take tooth and stick $$ under pillow so I would just hide it elsewhere ...later....and they would find it later and say "oh so the tooth fairy did come"

Well it was one of his front teeth (middle/top) so its kinda special. Will wind it back to $2 a tooth from now on. He has a cute gap now and has trouble saying 'th' now

that's funny you say that but over the summer both of my boys had each lost 3 teeth each all around same time

Came close a couple of times. My wife keeps all of the baby teeth. How weird is that?

just trying to think of anything else my kids have busted me for, i'm a good boy so theres not much..

I seem to remember the Mrs. almost getting busted one year at Christmas when she was helping Santa Claus set up some presents.
