The covers are really cool, and practical , although i myself wouldn't be able to cover up my boxes...my friends and family and i love seeing them "bling"

I love the way you keep them!

I would buy those 4'X2' hardboard available at Home Depot or Menards cut and use them under the Boomboxes. These hardboards have a smooth face and a mesh pattern reverse and ~4 to 5 mm thick.
They can cut the width based on the shelf width, so that makes things easy.

This way you can move them without getting caught and scratched on the shelf wires. I those strong card boards under every boombox.

I keep them covered with plastic making sure its not air tight.
