big SHARP recordboomer needs help

A few weeks ago i got this nice SHARP VZ-2500
It´s in pretty condition, except an little damage at the left speakergrill.

Radio and Tape works well, but the recordplayer needs help.
This is the big monster:

The record does´nt start to turn!
When putting an LP inside, the tonearms only shaking a littlebit and some motor humming is inside.
When putting an single inside, the whole box shuts off after a few seconds!!
Maybe something is blocking?

The control lights are working

Are there some belts inside, that can be weak/broken?
Some other ideas?
Anybody owns the same box (and probs)?

these do have drive belts for the turntable and the might need replaced ,i would also check to see if it has a 45/lp selector switch.

Wow! Awesome find Roman! I actually prefer the look of that model to my VZ-2000. She looks pretty clean too, I'd bet it's the belt too, just like JVC Floyd said.

I hope it's a little easier to replace than the one on my models. Good luck!
