big SHARP needs big help

got this optical very mint SHARP with spectrum analyzer.
But it´s not working. :'-(

When powering the spectrum makes a short flash and the LEDs power and stereo is working.
But out of the speakers is only a little humming on vol max.

also no sound on tape

but the tuner seems to work.
It finds station (stereocontrol).
I think the amp fails, or?
Any idea what to do?

Also the right deck needs work.

hi there first off try it on headphones if there is sound it isnt the amp if no sound realy not sure personally i would save up and send it to superdouper on here.

Let me know what happens on headphones ok

I had to have serious work to bring mine back to life. You may have shot volume sliders as well. Have you checked for bad solder joints? This was a problem mine had as well.

Roman. Check the line-out to another box and tell me if you are getting normal playback through another machine.

id say burnt Amplifier do open it, and take a look. take many care, that is a super lovely box!!!

Man, if you get it working,

that IS a SWEET SWEET box,

kinda of like my AudioSonic, but, that SPECTRUM analyser, is beautiful !!!
