The CROWN can not be compared with a LASONIC, it is much cheaper made.

Everything else works fine.

Congratulations! It is a sweet looker. I do like the way the antennas sit right on top.

'Line In' will work through the mic mixing socket but it's only mono and the sensitivity is too high, but it is one way of doing it. Other way of course is the FM transmitter method. It may be possible to modify these to fit RCA sockets and wire into the radio/tape selector switch........ not tried it though. :hmmm:

Great looking box, very impressive and imposing but sound is pretty mediocre on the whole.

Also, very easy belt change!

ahh, after reading your reply 2steppa i think il'e pass on the mic mix method then, can't be doing with crappy mono sound :nonono: think il'e just use it for the decks as it sounds pretty good on tape mode, cheers for your input :-)

That is a very good looking radio. I've always thought it was strange that it had the antennas mounted up front as opposed to the Lasonics, etc. But, it's cool that way too. Congrats!
