Big 9v battery, someone seen em?

After draining 18 d's it feels like there should be a greater solution out there.
I own a Aiwa TPR-950e and it requires 6 D's, but ive seen ppl hook a
car battery. Well its 12v but also not as easy to move around, then my question
is, if theres some kind of bigger Lithium or whatever that i can build or order that
will replace those D's? rechargeable is prio

Could run a 12VDC Gel/SLA battery (much smaller than a car battery) and a voltage step-down unit for 9VDC. the stepdown device is small and could be kit built or brought as a built unit. The issue you would have is finding a 9V battery as most operate 6 or 12V hence the step-down converter
