I had done an online estimates and it was over $300 My dimensions are 28 x 12 x 17 at 22LBS

Do they not base it on the volumetric weight like they do over here ?
The volumetric weight is calculated on it's dimensions but also a percentage of the weight too.
There are often sites in countries that are affiliated with the big carrier services that offer better deals.
For eg. in the UK it was going to cost me around £120 to send a Sharp 9797 via DHL but I found a site that does DHL shipping cheaper because of the amount of shipping they do for them.
In the end it was £76 which meant the buyer paid much less for shipping.
Try and have a look around for any other sites that offer shipping for the big names.

yes -- thats fricken TWICE -- more than twice !!!!
what they should be charging --my local pak-mail would be --220 tops --

i have not shipped anything to australia in 3 months ??
could things have changed that much // that fast

if you want it to go fast it would be airplane thats why its more expensive the boats take atleast 2 to 3 weeks yet its a lot cheaper........

and i sent one to AZA -- same way --same price --
