Been getting into 8track players and tapes.

Anybody here collect 8tracks? They remind me of my early teens. That funky clunky medium with only 4 choices at a time of what you will listen to.

It's so cool that the boombox plays 8 tracks!
I used to listen to my dad's 8 Tracks quite often as a kid, not so much anymore since I don't have a player anymore. I still have a soft spot for them though!

Those are pretty sweet Scott. I've never seen any 8-track boxes/portables.

Curious if there are any good heavy hitters like those with a traditional look.

ive had several OSS,and they are very funky,and very of their time.the whole clunk/click action and unique sound they produce is so different generally to boomboxes imho everyone should have at least one eight track format in their collection

There are adaptors available for ordinary/standard cassettes to fit into so you can play ordinary/standard tapes in these 8-track machines?
