Beat Cancel Switch

Curious as to what this switch does and what the different bars represent. Is there a default setting for this switch? Inquiring minds want to know!

Default setting is 1. This switch keeps the warbling or feedback from occurring while recording AM. This may pertain to playback to but from what I’ve read it keeps down interference or muffled the AM modulating while recording AM.

 

[AE_Stereo]

It will cut a humming/whistling noise while recording from radio.
