Bought it on Gumtree, Arrived on Friday morning like this, I was pretty pissed, so I left it a couple of days until I opened it.. ....It came from Perth to Brisbane packed like this. I reckon about 5400 kilometers by road. (not quite 3500 miles)








Tied up with electrical wire.



Some old used home roofing insulation as packing.



Undamaged, apart from some scratches.





Radio is strong, band selector is fubarred, but is stuck on FM, so not too bad, needs belts and dial light replacement. It's pretty dirty, so I'm cleaning it now.

Pretty pleased actually, I've always loved the look of this model Sanyo, and very happy to get one.

Congrats this is a lovely Sanyo, one of my favorites. They sound fantastic and the deck, whilst it is a bit of an effort to rebelt its well worth it as its real nice quality.

Rudey that packaging is a joke. Litterally. As in I thought this must be a joke/hoax. That is the most appaling thing I have seen in a long while.

That's just terrible. That is one of my favorite boxes though...built like a tank and sound is unreal. Glad it made the journey in one piece...somehow.

hell my m90 from puerto rico was packed only marginally better than that, made it fine though . basically they used tape instead of string to hold the card board together but it looked almost exactly the same lol.

That 9998 looks like it's the 'K' version. Fat dog used to do a nice door cling for those.
