Bump!

Anybody got an M50 they can take a picture of up close? I have the Japanese edition and would like to know what the labels are!!! ;-)
I don't have a manual but here's some pics of a M50 listed on eBay.

Volume, bass & treble controls:

Tape deck controls:

Radio band controls (but you only have AM/FM on your Victor):

Left side panel with input/output, external speakers, headphones etc.:

Right side panel with tuning, fine tuning, and power input:

The only switch not shown very well in these pics is the Function switch that sits on the top panel between the Mic Mixing knob and the Radio Band switches. In this next pic, I've circled it in red:

The Function switch has 3 settings. From left to right, they go Tape, Radio, and Line-In. Also circled in red is the panel below the tape deck. On the JVC (English) version, it controls the Biphonic/wide, Echo, Music Search, and REC mute functions. It is a bit different on your Victor.

Hope this helps. ;-)

Yo bro!!! Now, why didn't I think a dat? Clever!!!

That helps a WHOLE lot to decypher my M50 Victor!!! Specially the side panel info!!!

I kinda had the Volume, Bass and Treble along with the play, rewind, ff, pause, etc. under control... but what I didn't have was the rest!

On the panel right under the tape deck, my Victor has 2 dials instead of 1... the very far right one is a pitch control!!! Totally awesome! The other dial on the left of that one must be the "Electronic Echo" because of the dashed line design getting a bit longer as you turn the dial... I don't know exactly how that works but must be for the mic!!! Rappin' time!!! :w00t:

I still gotta find out how the Multi Music Scanner works...

Thanks so much Bro!!!!!!    :smooch:
