JUST WANTED TOO KNOW IF ANY OF YOU AMERICAN COLLECTORS HAVE BOUGHT ABROAD?? DO YOU GET HIT WITH BROKERAGE FEES AND DUTYS LIKE US CANADIANS?? PAID 96 BUCK ONCE ON TOP OF THE PRICE I PAID FOR MY FIRST M70....

No brokerage fees for me either. Get a buddy in the USA that you can meet up with to get your goods :cool:

thanks guys.. i have a US shipping address for items like these... got my eye on a blaster in hong kong but dont want too stick my family there with any fees.....

I don't think you'll get any fees from Hong Kong. I've received boomboxes from China, Germany, Austria, Poland, with no fees. It's just certain countries like England that have stupid treaties requiring import duties.

Import duties, yes, but they're what we pay to American eBay sellers when we import stuff.
If it works the other way too, I only stay a few miles East of the Border and could post things from across there in Scotland if that would help anyone. ;-)

Buy from overseas a relative bit depending on what it is. Never paid special taxes, etc. :-)
