Another Thift store Rant

So I was at Goodwill today looking for Vintage electronics and other things.
As usual, I found nothing.
I also noticed that today the store was very very packed with all kinds of shoppers !
I call these people "Rack Attackers" ! Everytime one of those rolling racks or carts comes out, they immediately attack it ! Some people even have a magnifying glass on them to see the brands ! Not to mention people with smartphones, looking up values. It has become a joke ! I mean, doesnt anyone work anymore ? lol
So I wikipedia'd Goodwill and it says they are a non profit organiztion.. really ? Non profit ?
Thier prices are really high and wikipedia states the revenue they made in 2012 was $3.5 billion !

Yep it's a sad site indeed. It's the same around here at St. Vinnies and Goodwill. People act like scavengers and idiots.

same here, goodwill is overpriced. Many of the items can be found cheaper at walmart. The store should be called 'ill-will'

The answer would surely be not to donate if you don't like the T&Cs? The world has no shortage of charity shops so go to one that isn't so rammed!

Too many people watching these 'Storage Wars' style of shows! I don't see how you'd make big profits buying second hand **** at inflated retail prices!
