Another Day, Another Long Trip, New Additions (Pic)

Well, today was a good day. One of my contacts good friends had 4 boxes for sale, A C-100 (7980), a Huge Tecsonic Jumbo, A Clairtone 7978, and a Lasonic TRC-931. I only had time today to go see them and pick them up, and i'm glad i did. The C-100 is BEAUTIFUL...it's just missing the mixing level knob but that's it, the HUGE Tecsonic is missing deck door 2 (which i now have!), the Clairtone 7978 is nice and plays great and the TRC-931 is a beauty and plays and sounds great/like new...it's missing 1 tapedeck key, plus all the original knobs (which i have)...but in all honesty i think i prefer the knobs that are on it They all have perfect antennas, and all antenna clip holders are intact which is great

Thanks guys. I guess i really am lucky, and i have so many contacts all over the place that really help me out. My contacts like the fact that i pick them up, and pay cash...no shipping required which means NO damaged boxes. I hate shipping...too much can go wrong.

Ira, my trip was a 5 hour return trip...that's a close one for me, i'm used to driving much further!

Who knows what tomorrow brings lol.
