Gday all, another Australian joining up to add to what seems to be a growing love of boomboxes in Australia? Maybe we just covet what we dont really have over here. :huh:

Anyway, I have always loved hip-hop and graffiti since school and always wanted my very own box, but quietly knowing I would have to pay a lot or get really lucky to find one. Well finally the latter has occurred and I'm now the proud owner of a National RX-5650. And i only had to fly to Japan to get it! More on that in the help thread I'm about to post because OH GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE?

So now I have it, I should be content with just one? Guys? :hmmm:

Sorry to hear about your fried box, I'm sure you will be able to fix her up with hep from the board. I bet somebody has spares they will be willing to part with.
As for your question should you be content with just one???? Are you?
If you had another box, your jamming would be uninterrupted in your current situation.
So logic says, have a backup! and good luck. :cool: :breakdance:

Thanks for he welcome guys. I have been furiously reading all the threads on here and trying to learn as much as I can. There are some serious collecters on here, I'm not sure I can handle another hobby taking over my life, BUT the m-90 and 777 are already making me feel funny inside :blush: The more silver knobs and dials, the better they look I reckon!

Welcom TP!

You need to be careful. Boombox rehab hasn't been set up yet, so coming off boombox addiction is not going to be easy. Also, you'll find the guys on here most helpful (they're really a great bunch) but when it comes to boombox addiction they really cannot help you :-D
