Boomer # 2 is mine. Just won my bid on epay for a Magnavox 8443. Some issues with the tape deck and battery compartment cover has problems. After some clean up and tinkering she'll be ready to play with out by the pool or the basketball court. Pumped, now the waiting begins...grrr
I guess it's official now. One boombox is one thing...getting the second one a few weeks later is a telltale sign that this thing is gonna get out of hand.

whatever....if there's anywhere people understand this it's here. Plus, it means a new photo shoot for the calendar

Everyone needs that awesome box for their collection almost got a brand new one of these back in 84' but bought my CEC instead Hopefully deck don't have the problem that most Maggy's have with a broken gear

Thanks, yeah I hope it's not a gear either. New to this. The seller says it fast forwards, rewinds and plays slow...hoping that's a belt. I will def be asking advice on one of the boards when I get it.

Yeah then it's not a gear. Either bad belt or Capstan tire needs cleaning.

Oh, it's def part of my personality...once I like something I need more...Once I LOVE something...uh oh. Yeah, I knew this was gonna happen. I have spent the last few weeks since I got my 935 enjoying it at gatherings, parks, pool, yard...all the while I have been avoiding ebay like the plague, knowing full well what was gonna happen. I also view these boxes as art(art you can listen to your fav music, start parties with, you name it). It was just a matter of time(about 3-4 weeks to be exact). I'm fvcked...beautifully fvcked
