just read it -- still hope that its not amy they found in the flat.

she was a sad personality - and i hoped that she'll recover one day and became the great artist again that she used to be.

somehow it still was just a matter of time that something like this happens.

i'll miss her.

Needless to say, this is just a shame. Not that I was any sort of fan, but when ever you see a person that WANTS to be in the music industry that clearly has an abuse problem, it's destine to end up this way. Anytime an individual has an addictive personality and then is cast into a position where they can literally have anything they want, this will always be the outcome.

I don't think we will ever see this sort of thing not happening...

Some people bust their a**es in the hopes of making it big in the music industry someday. Try as they may, it just isn't in the cards for some, regardless of talent. One day, they'll be forced to give up their passion for making music. Instead, they'll have to focus on a regular job just to pay the bills. But not for Amy Winehouse. She had success from the start. Massive radio play. Legions of fans. A Grammy. Some of the best producers and artists in the world were willing to collaborate with her. What more could she have asked for in a career? But she threw it all away because she couldn't keep her sh*t together. She made a fool of herself on stage because of the drugs. She disrespected her fans by wasting their time and money. And now she's dead. In the grand scheme of things, I know my opinion doesn't mean anything. I know she's not asking for my sympathy. But she's still not getting it.

R.I.P. :ghost:

talent is talent
drugs are drugs
weak people are weak people

You can' t blame her for being smacked out of her eyeballs - if our rockstars can't get out of their heads, who can?

The death is a pity - but we still have her music

No - I am not a fan
Yes - I am moved by someone passing away

we shouldn't judge peoples life choices - she took no one else with her

Yep the 27 club strange that all these musicians died at that age.

I did my share back in the day but when you start mixing alcohol, speedball, crack, & weed you're asking for it!

I was smart I just did one thing and that was all.

R.I.P. Amy Winehouse hope you're rocking with Janis & Jimi!!
