amazing battery life on jvc m70

hello to all...Yesterday i went to my first car show of the season.i decided to take a boombox with me ..I decided to take the m70 with me because it fit in my car with all the gear i take and it just sounds great...well i was expecting to have to turn it off after a few hours of play ...well i was shocked to see this thing in action I played it for the first 2 hours on tapes then we switched to the radio and finally the ipod in aux....the radio was on at about five to six on vol all day and the dial light on with led kit it preformed well but i cant belive after all that the battery meter still reads full today im just amazed...here is a pic from yeaterday

Yep, batteries last a long time in the M70. I had a set of batteries last me three or four months, but I wasn't blasting it as loud as it would go though.

I think my mind set over the years has been switched to "stuff that uses batteries don't last" because everything we buy today is crap!

But these old Blasters do great on batteries....and that kicks ass

Super killer ride man....

I plan on doing some car shows this summer and want to bring a few Blasters with me for display. My car is an 83, so I will bring a few from that year.

I'm not surprised to hear this...

I believe the M70 is one of the most efficient loud boxes on batteries that you will find.

Another good I can attest to from personal experience is the Aiwa TPR-950. What that box does with only 6 D-cells is impressive too.

guys for all the compliments...had alot of fun yesterday and yes i got alot of "oh wow look at the boombox"...had a koolaid smile allday...but what was so cool was Ifelt like a kid again hanging out
