This is a midi unit which has an appeal -at least to me-
It must be a late 1970s machine.

It looks like according to my records the TPR-925 and the JDM Stereo 840 were from around 1978.

Me, too! I pulled the trigger on the 925 on eBay and am hoping it arrives in one piece. I don't see service manuals for it online however I'm working on a 905 now and it's not too bad.
