Aiwa tape deck, tape mechanism wont work?

Hello guys, Back in February I had a used tape deck Aiwa AD F600. In my attempt to replace its belts I caused some strange short circuit and the machine was dead.
After working for 4 days on re-soldering the crap connections on the LED, I got it back to life.
The LED display works, but they tape mechanism wont work, no motor gonna spin either. Its stuck in this state. Any help?

How'd ya short something when changing out belts? The Aiwa AD-F series belt replacement's are the easiest of any deck I've ever worked on. Recheck anything you've had that soldering iron around, maybe flowed some solder onto something else.
