About carrying boomboxes outside..

with a mp3 player connected to line in or whatever;where you put your player!?I usually put it in my pants pocket!I'm thinking about buying a swimcase for my player and stick it to the backside of the boombox..it would be better and so everything would be in order (there is also the problem of long audio cord..) but I don't want to spoil the backside!
Do you use some solutions?!

While carrying the boombox it's very convenient to use an FM transmitter but you have to make sure you get a good one, most of them are rather crappy. And then you can switch to cables when the boombox is stationary. Or you record some fresh tapes

These are great suggestions!I'm not so convinced by a bluetooth or fm system..I'm talking about the audio quality!I'm more for Ira's solution:velcro!Old school Scott, is that Ipod fixed with something else or using velcro?!?!

i used velcro too. and got a 6 inch 3.5 to rca from monoprice
