A Room from the past.

Every year there is a festival that is taking place at the city i am living, the Athens Retro Festival.

This year i helped to make a stand resembling a girls room from the 80s. Here are some pics for everyone to enjoy.














Last year it was a boys room so this year it had to be a girls room! With Miami Vice colours.
The 5th pic is from a working Jukebox whch was really amazing.

It was a very nice festival with lots of visitors . It was a mission to recreate that 80s feeling
and i guess with the reactions i saw from people it was a success.

I caught mysef standing for
some time from the other side of the stand and examined how people felt .
The most extreme one was from a 45 year old lady sitting for about an hour at the ''room''
reading all the music books and crying with the music coming from the discolite !

Another guy was asking if the bbox was a modern modified recreation with all those leds
or if it was a real one from back in the day?

Younger people didnt know how to handle a cassette , it seemed so exotic for them.
