Just had Rich (sony_apm_fan) and Brian (Terry) with Brian's son over for some morning boombox activities!
Brian was down to see the tennis at the Australian Open and managed to fit in a visit to Casa Del Gluecifer for some rockin action.

For those unaware of the distance this is like a New York to Florida type of trip, so it's not just a hop, skip and a jump.

Thanks a bunch to Rich for bringing them both down, t'was a lovely time indeeed and Terry's son was very grateful he wasn't stabbed/raped/both during their Geelong visit.

We only got the one pic, I JUST remembered to get one as they were leaving!

Geelong's apparently known as a scary place in other parts of the country, unbeknownst to me.

I thought Frankston was the "lock the doors when driving through" town.

I had a great time in Melbourne guys, firstly the Quarter finals of the Tennis, and then to hang out with you guys for most of the day. It was pretty cool.

Special mention to Rich for driving us, with all the damn freeways, ring roads, roadworks, speed camera etc, I would have given up and went home before I got half way.

Then a special mention to Rick for showing us some of his collection, and making me realize I need a Discolite and a Rising 20/20.

I've no idea where Mark got the idea Geelong was sketchy, although I did tell him we were going to meet some weirdos from the internet.

One last thing, while we were away, here at home we had 12 inches of rain in 36 hours, that's why Brisbane floods the way it does. It was pretty special getting home last night.

Everytime i see your meetings on the Forum i get a little bit a sort of jeaulous feeling inside..it seems that i am the only active member overhere that collects boomboxes so meetings nearby are out of the question..if i had the possebilities i would love to be at a meeting one time in your fantastic country or in the States...maybe when my ship comes in???

Lets get back at your minimeet: Fantastic work guys to have the oppertunity to take a glance of Mr. Glue's fantastic collection and grab a few drinks togther, i will take a toast on you all overhere in our little frogcountry!
