Don't tell me - 'You've got no tape to test the deck' :-)

After extensive testing on my very rare Bobby McFerrin cassette I can confirm that the M70, is indeed fully working.

I'm loving that Akai Terry! :jawdrop:
I never realized those were that big. :w00t:
Great stuff!

Skippy, the Akai AJ-C1 is a heavy hitter, only ignored/unknown because they are so damn rare!

The C20 is no slouch either, it doesn't have the huge bass that other Sanyos have, probably because of the record player, but I love it because of its looks.

ahh the Akai.....

tuner doesn't work, display doesn't work, deck doesn't work, front door missing, battery cover missing.... a real sad state, I nearly didn't buy it when he refused my offer of 30 bucks (he wanted 40). I capitulated on the 40 because he threw in a Tosh SX-1.

plugged the mp3 player into Aux, it's loud and clear. Did I say loud? Yeah, it's a monster box. If you find one, grab it.

Good on ya Brian... but is it only a matter of time before you palm them off or are these keepers?
Surely the M70 should stay given it's portability/sound ratio.
:D
