It was an over cast day and a little chilly, but I warmed up the sand with the TRC-935 and the new John Waite album "Rough and Tumble" cranking through the blu tooth and my cell phone!

The 935 had plenty of power at the beach which we all know can be an issue when you need to over power the waves. I slightly adjusted the EQ and had full range and enough volume to need to turn it down!

It was a nice day!

The rest of the Japanese boombox haul has gone to a collector who asked to remain private. All of those pictures I showed were in deed radio's from Japan, but they are gone now. Sorry :-/ I kept what I have shown.

That thing is BOSS Chris. Even an urban box such as this can still even show the beach what's up!

Yeah man, on a New York street corner or a West Coast beach, the 935 does it well

Yeah! A 935 representing

My buddy, his wife, 18 month old son and mother in law were with us, and everyone was tapping a foot or bobbing their head. A sort of mini beach party!

Sweet pics, Chris. By the way, have you heard the new Stalingrad album from Accept?

Yeah! Rock'n'roll!

One must ask, however, what music was cranked at the beach??

Rock On.

Well, since it was more or less a family day out, I kept the Heavy Metal off :-/

I was listening to the local Classic Rock channel....BTW, the 935 has a great tuner and of course the twin antennae look so cool.

But I got tired of getting up to change the channel when commercials came on. So I turned on my Blu Tooth receiver, connected to my phone and we listened to the album "Rough and Tumble" from John Waite. Great mid paced romantic rock. Great album, highly recommended.

NO....I have "Blood of the Nations". I didn't know they had a newer one than that.....I will go look for that today! Awesome, thanks for the heads up.

It was a very interesting day at the beach....we walked the pier and there were some people fishing. one couple had the typical iPod dock that was screechy, tinny and distorted because they were trying to over power the sea. and I saw some kids that had an egg and they had the same basic problem.

I was very proud when my buddy said "Dude, that radio sounds great out here. I can actually hear the music and all the bass mids and highs".

Radio's with EQ's are great in this environment. You can really dial them in.

A box at the beach is a definite necessity.

I always see you East Coast guys post up pic's enjoying the beach with the family and the blaster. Makes me jealous! I had to get out there myself

Thanks guys....
