I won't be buying one until they release Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared Syn on 3D Blu-Ray.
That had an 18-year-old Kelly Preston in it - in 3D. I remember sitting in the theater with my dad, and getting a slight headache from the red and blue glasses, and not caring. Because of Michael Ironsides' robotic arms menacing those bikini-clad apocalypse-survivor girls. But mostly because of 3D Kelly Preston. I knew that I was only 6 at the time, so she was a little bit older. But we could make it work.

My friend just ordered a LED 3D LG tv last week.
The package he bought comes with the LG 3D compatible blu ray player and 4 pairs of the 3D glasses
I'm curious to see it when he gets it.

Specially gotta love Samsung when they say:
"DO NOT place your 3D television near open stairwells, cables, balconies or other objects that may cause you to injure yourself."

Most people get headaches from 3D video. The intensity of it irritates the eyes. I think it would be annoying to have to wear the glasses too.
I have never used or seen one in person, so who knows - maybe it would be something I like but I am more simpistic than 3D

I've seen a couple of 3D movies in a theater, but they use a different tech in the movie theaters - passive shutter vs. active shutter in the TVs.
I guess actuve hurts eyes more than passive. But it's not like there are tons of content in 3D - just seems like an interesting feature - especially for gaiming!

Bobby, this is why I will NOT buy a Samsung
But on a serious note, I prefer Sony - they have a local dimming set, which Samsung lacks

I passed on it. I didn't care about the idea of wearing glasses to watch it in 3D 
. Plus they're a lil on the high side of $$$ for now . So instead I bought a 65 inch Panny for $2090 
. My PS3 looks f'n amazing when I play COD Black Ops!!! Jr2384 is my screen name if anybody wants to play
