I guess this is the only alternative for recovering lost modules.
I haven't dealt with these things and I don't know how high quality and durable this part is?
Does it age faster than standard plastic parts?

You can get get pretty impressive quality product parts with 3d printers now, I have one myself although it’s overdue an upgrade to a newer model.
As for durability there are many printable filaments including ABS which many original parts would have been made from plus several reinforced filaments with carbon fibre etc. so pretty strong and durable and UV resistant.

There is even a growing community of people 3D printing molds for injection molding.
Something on my to do list if I ever get the time.
