Well I finally was able to get my collection of Boomers from the garage to their new home on the shelves. One issue I had was Jeannie's oldest son and girlfriend asked if they could stay with us in new house for 2 weeks while they look for new apartment, well that was over a month ago and they still have the whole basement filled with their crap. Yeah I'm very upset because we had plans for basement including my fish tank, Boomboxes and a bar. Well I decided to take it upon myself to set up a little spot in front room for time being for my boxes, at least til they leave. Well they are nice and cozy all nestled in the warm house and I'm a much happier camper. Here is pic of my new setup :-)

I think that Xmas tree is taking up too much valuable room. Put the tree back outside where it wants to be and you'll have room for more boxes.

Did you custom make the bottom level of vertical posts to fit the vz2000? The Ikea one in my office, and other metal shelving I have are just a bit short to fit VZ2000s in them, thus I have em causing a rawkus in my basement.

 yeah the family is already upset I put them in front room. The VZ just fits under with the whits posts. I actually had it a different way at other house but had more room. I will be building new wood shelves in basement as soon as I get the space back :-)

Well if the folks don't like the boxes in the front room then there's their incentive to get that basement emptied ;)

Cool set up Bill :)

If you put some lights on the shelving , you can make it look like a tree when it`s dark :-P Nice setup

Sure wish I still had my mint Discolite

Makes quite an impression amongst all the subtle earth-toned furniture!

The couches are saying "calm & relaxed" while the boxes are saying "PARTY-HARDY!!" :-D

Kick their asses out! That's your pad man. I agree with m40dotcom, get that tree outside and decorate to boombox stack!

Thanks guys
Tree will be down soon enough but believe me they need to go. I had tons of plans for basement including building a nice bar and having our mini meets down there :-D

Hey Bill, any time you can work radios into the main living space is a triumph! Even if its not forever. They look great too

Thanks Chris. Believe me the farther away from the kids I can get them though the safer they are
