I haven't had the honor of experiencing an RX 2 yet, but man it LOOKS loud and mean, what a good looking beast, I love the red woofers on the VZ. Mine has the black woofers but I always liked the red ones on the VZ. Congrats on 2 great looking monsters. :-D

Congrats NZ.

Maybe I snag a broken VZ next week for $50

For help members, A2 is way bigger than the Conions, VZs or GF7XX, and waaayy LOUDER than all battery capable radios...

As Ira says, they not sounds like boomboxes, the sound quality and range is in another level, period.

Cheers.

What material is the casing of the RX?

Much thicker plastic than a traditional boombox.

The whole setup weighs 20-21 KG and requires 2 hands to carry.

15 watts per channel when using batteries, and probably more when using AC.

Fantastic sounding outdoors. For indoors I'd rather use a Telefunken Studio 1 as the bass comes on sooner at low volume.

Thx, a Heavy Monster! Have a Studio 1 and Hitachi J2 (Boxed-set), both heavyweight and powerfull bass machines. Would like to hear the Panny once to compare....

I've got three sets of RX-A2, Herb send me a pm if you want one. Maybe we can trade?

Nice machines NZ! Awesome finds! The RX is indeed monstrous :)
