Made in Japan !
original owner, original manual and bill of sale.

Well, sometimes you can find these listed new in box on ebay for like $300-$400.... :thumbsup:

Ya. In 1981, things were expensive !
Even by todays standards, $192 is alot of money.

What cost $192 in 1981 would cost $477.52 in 2012.

Yep, these radio's were top end luxury items back in the day. For someone to lay out that kind of money was a big deal and the currency conversion to 2012 is nothing to laugh at :no:

Great score :thumbsup: I just got one a few months ago but paid $100. Mine is like new with box and all too. No discoloration like these usually have. Check your PM too :-). When I bought my first brand new RX5010 in 83' it cost me $50 on sale at Venture. Here is difference with age ;-)

i had a black one recently....and its panasonic,so the name says it all....you know you have a good one when it says panasonic on the front :yes:

They may not have been feature loaded but the looks spoke of quality and elegance. Panasonic really has a knack for that on their simplest boxes and these are no different. Congrats! :-)
