It was nice to see my long lost brother yesterday. And... I finally got to hear a JVC PC-5 in person. It's not quite the M90 killer as suggested in another post, but its sound is quite remarkable when you consider the size of the woofers and the fact that there are no tweeters. I was really impressed with its sound stage.

He also brought another beast - a black one. I'll let Freddie be the one to share all of that, but I will say it weighs more than I do (maybe an exaggeration), and heilige Scheisse... the power that thing has!!!!

I gave him a Vector before he headed home. It has a couple of cosmetic issues though. So, he has two at the moment - maybe you can sweet talk him out of one.

Isn't a Vector just a PC-11 with different speakers? I have heard it sounds better than the JVC.

You should hear my PC-5 with panny 4" dual drivers!! Leaves the full range drivers at the start line & even at low volume the bass just rolls out of the speakers!! Really must make a video of low volume playback to demonstrate what I mean! 🎵🎶🎵🎶🎛
