m7950k amplifier diagnosis

So I picked up this Sanyo boombox which looks great, and seems to work. Tape plays, radio tunes, and LED meter shows sound being played. With headphones or through speakers there is no volume. When the volume is pushed to Max you can barely hear from the speakers, it is the audio from radio...
