The 850 and 980 sound great, but a simple M70 would beat them in overall volume. Never heard a 970, but supposedly that's the best Crown.

crown 970 is the one to get, it has a handle lol 850 is also good along with the 980........i found the 950 very disappointing although the new owner loves it.
