Converted an old broken pair of headphones into tweeters for my 767. High end is improved a bit now.

Why don't you just order a pair of "real" tweeters and a couple of 3.3uf or 4.7uf caps instead? Headphone drivers are quite high impedance, something like 32 ohms most likely, and more full range than highs only.

That costs money, and these were free lol. It's not like it's a huge change since I was just replacing the pietzos that were in the unit to begin with. Also I did put capacitors on them, idk if you can see that, so they are really only reproducing the highs. They do sound better than the pietzos, so I'm happy for now.

That's actually kind of interesting. It could definitely hold you over until you get something better. Heck, I remember seeing some people use headphones as microphones.
