Hello newbie here, I am working on my Sharp GF-9191 cassette player. I have just replaced all the belts but still my cassette player is eating the tapes. Now I have new pinch rollers on order. Is there anything else I need to look for that will cause this to happen?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Dont be put off doing this job. I had to do it on my 9090. I was a little nervous cutting the tube to the exact right length and making sure it was sitting in the right place, but it all worked out well in the end and the box and been the most trouble free of all my boxes and I use them alot.

I had the same thing on a GF-9494 I was given, took me a while to figure out! I've got a temporary solution on it at the moment (a piece of plastic pipe with some heat shrink on it) which sort of works, but ideally need a better fix. I'll try the RC silicon hose as suggested above, sure I have some somewhere.....
