Hey,
As a fanatic fan of Hip Hop music I have been expanding my (digital) collection ever since I was 14 or so.

-I have 5600 singles ranging from 1979- 1990 averaging of 500 per year, some well known, lots of obscure stuff like Willie wood and the Woodpecking crew and most of the Roxanne response records etc.
-I have 6200 songs on albums ranging from 1980 - 1999 (mostly 1985 - 1996) all classics from KRS-ONE, Eric B & Rakim, PE etc.
-I have 30 or so different collections, I have all streetsounds electro (22 volumes) and the complete ultimate beats and breaks 25 volumes.
-Dozens of remixes, old live tape recordings, intrumentals & some 2000s stuff
-1000 classic soul and funk songs

total of 14 000 songs hip hop/hip hop inspirations !

BUT

I WANT MORE.
I'm good on golden age hip hop and well known 80 and 90 stuff, I'm looking for very underground things:
Any old school 1976- 1985 songs that would be hard to find such as knights of the turntables or Paris "Rockdown (schoolboy rap)" 1981 etc.
Miami bass and southern early hip hop as I have not much of that
West coast rap 1985 - 1995

So, let's trade.
I haven't found anyone who likes my kind of music, but chances are I will here :).
So if you have any of the above, hit me up and let's see what we can do.

Peace

Thanks man!
The live records aren't made by me (I'm only 23), but digital versions of 20 or so different live performances by grandmaster flash, biz markie, run D.M.C etc. The remixes are some from the radio in the 80s (marley marl, Mr. magic etc.) and some oldschool megamixes from the 90s I think. if you're interested I can send you some ? or use dropbox for example.

Peace

I grew up on the east coast just north of NY and remember being on the school bus and having guys break out a tape from a NY rap station. If you're offering up early 80's radio mixes on dropbox I'm in!

Me 2 fo sho. thing is, your collection is a little intimidating and I really don't think I have anything in my current itunes collection that your going to want. Maybe I could export a list somehow though...
