Problem is after using contact cleaner (servisol) the sliders do not move smoothly as before.
You need to apply a bit more pressure to get them going which in result make it jump a longer way.
How do you go about fixing this and which material/s applied?

Grease needs to be used. Contact cleaner dilutes grease. You'll need to take them apart and re-grease them.

Okay noted, but which kind of grease is best? Please specify some brand names.
Light clear silicone grease - I have some Hakko soldering vacuum gun silicone grease (pump sealer)...
How about white lithium grease - as I plan to get some for tape mechanism lubrication...

Let it sit for few days, alcohol will evaporate and leave the grease that will make it better

Nope! Deoxit is no alcohol and even if it is alcohol it cannot escape and leave grease.
Once you dilute or wash away grease, it will not lubricate the parts that needs it. Deoxit will not escape from grease.

I don´t have DeoXit D5 available here so i use Due-Ci R-11 Contact Cleaner. It´s a great chemical for contact cleaning, works well and in hours most of it evaporates and leaves lubricant. I checked it out on plastic too, first it´s like liquid and in some time it´ll turn to grease. I should get silicone grease from somewhere too :-)

Not sure what you meant by only applying to the friction areas and not the carbon path, that and the contacts that hit it are the friction areas. Apply a light coating to the entire path. This guy shows how
