My M70 arrived today, and overall I am very impressed with the minty-fresh look! Only a few scratches in the paint here and there. Perfect chrome and even the handle looks new.

Anyway, when I switch to FM, the right speaker scratches in and out and I have to giggle the switch to get both speakers working.

The exact same thing happens when I click the phono/line in switch on the side to play line in music.

I'm not sure how deox works, or where to get it. Also, the switches look well protected from receiving any spray from the outside.

Do I have to take the box apart to clean the switches? If so, what product does everyone recommend?

Thanks!

p.s. look at the square patterned chrome inside the tape deck door. The shiny chrome squares are designed to match the speaker grills. That is a quality touch you just dont see anymore.

1. Yes, for the best cleaning, you need to take it apart. Sometimes, you even need to disassemble the switch.
2. The recommended product is Deoxit D5 spray
3. No, that is NOT an M70. It is an M80.

Thanks Super! Yes, I meant M80, sorry.
I've been watching the M70 bidding lately, I think the name got stuck in my mind.
