RC-M70C external speakers, ohms and watts

greetings, the RC-M70C has two 3.5mm mono external speaker jacks, left and right. the writing near these jacks indicate the impedance for the external speakers should be 8 ohms.

can lower impedance speakers be used? for example 4 ohms? would it damage the system to have two 4ohm speakers connected?

also, approximately how many watts rms can you push per channel for the external speakers?

The best thing to do is use the 8 ohm speakers as indicated on the label . And you will probably only get 10 to 15 watts RMS output from the amplifier per Channel.
