Aiwa CS880 tapedeck question...

Hell all.

A friend here in Brazil, cach a CS880 for free (YES, For FREE), but without a Tapedeck, unfortunately.

Some of your know if that tapedeck is only for that model, or another Aiwa boxes sharing the same deck... ...if yes, what box... ...and, if someone of your have the deck for sell, inform the price.

Is it hard to find the Service Manual for this model??

I'm 99% sure the 770 shares the same deck.
The SM can be found in the downloads section on here ( https://boomboxery.com/forum/index.php?/files/ )

Yes the CS880,CS770,CS660,CS600,CS360,CS300,CS250 and several other models use the same cassette mechanism.
There are some variations of the MD1 deck......
Scotty is right though the CS770 uses the exact same deck as the CS880.
If you can find one it will be a direct fit.

Problem is these are all pretty rare so finding one may take some time good luck
